My absolute earliest memory is lying on the floor coloring when my older siblings burst through the door as they arrived home from school. I'm not making that up. I've been coloring – or drawing, or painting - pretty much ever since. 

I took a few years off in my early adulthood to be a performer - acting and singing mostly (two pursuits I still enjoy with a little bit of writing thrown in for good measure). But the visual arts have always been with me and continue to serve me in very good stead.
